The Master’s Program in Information Systems (MSI) Universitas Komputer Indonesia, is a Master of Information Systems program that applies several teaching standards from local and international curricula with an orientation towards competitive graduate profiles. Master of Information Systems UNIKOM organizes a Master of Information Systems study program with a study period of 3 semesters of lectures, 1 semester of thesis (2 years) with 3 specializations

Three specializations in the Master of Information Systems Universitas Komputer Indonesia:

Students specializing in this program will learn how to:

  • Develop IT Frameworks: Create a blueprint for a company’s IT infrastructure using established frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, DEODAF, and CIMOSA.
  • Align IT and Business: Develop IT strategic plans that are aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage and Control Systems: Oversee and control information systems to ensure they meet business objectives and align with the IT blueprint, while incorporating risk management principles.
  • Resolve Data-Related Issues: Address information systems issues related to data, such as integration, migration, retention, system updates, fraud, and segregation of duties.
  • Understand IT Standards: Become familiar with standard frameworks for managing IT, including COBIT, ITIL, PMBOK, and Octave.
  • Apply Standards: Utilize appropriate information systems standards from national standardization bodies like ISO, IEC, BSI, NIST, IETF, and BSN.

Graduates of this Master’s in Information Systems program with a specialization in Digital Enterprise Architecture can pursue careers as:

  • COO (Chief Operating Officer): Oversees the day-to-day operations of a business.
