Latar Belakang
COBIT 5 sebagai standar tata kelola IT yang terbaru merupakan pengembangan dari COBIT 4.1 yang lebih mudah dan lebih menjamin proses pengontrolan sistem informasi. COBIT 5 ini memisahkan antara tata kelola IT dengan manajemen IT namun menambahkan IT Service Management dan Model Resiko IT yang terbaru dalam bentuk Model Reference. Keterkaitan antar Control Objective dan transparansi dari masing-masing Control Objective membuat versi COBIT terbaru ini tidak hanya mengejar pada model maturity level tetapi kepada penjelasan dari level itu sendiri.
